Abeyance sought in order against officiating system

Itagar, Feb 18: The Aruchal Civil Society while welcoming the cancellation of officiating and functiol appointments and promotions on out of turn basis, also opined that the decision can adversely affect the functioning system of departments.

Requesting the Governor to keep in abeyance the decision, it said that officiating staffs have also been authorized DDO power and with the end of fincial year, change in appointments may keep works pending.

Stating that an ‘overnight decision’ can have adverse affects, ACS said once the President Rule is revoked whole decision taken at Raj Bhawan will stand absolute and that needs to be kept in consideration.

Meanwhile, The All Nyishi Youth Association also appealed to the Governor to keep in abeyance the decision of cancelling appointment of ‘officiating and functiol officers’, stating that with the coming up of fincial year in a month many ongoing works may come to a standstill.
