ABMSU calls for boycott of PM's rally

Rangia, January 11:  The All BTC Minority Students’ Union (ABMSU) has appealed to the religion minorities not to attain the ensuing rally of Prime Minister rendra Modi on January 19 in Kokrajhar. Sahabuddin Ali Ahmed, president of the organization, urged in a press release to the religion minorities of BTAD not to cooperate and participate in the meeting. ABMSU has also  supported the proposed BTAD and lower Assam bandh called by O-Bodo Suraksha Samittee and Sanmilita Jagosthiya Aikya Mancha on January 18 and January 19 respectively. According to Ahmed, Prime Minister rendra Modi had given no importance to the sufferings of the non- Bodo people of BTAD in spite of repeated appeals. The union had submitted several memoranda to the Prime Minister appealing for curtailment of those villages from BTAD where the non-Bodo population was majority.
