From a Correspondent

TANGLA, July 4: The activists of All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) Bhergaon Anchalik committee in association with Bhergaon Taxi Automobile Association blocked Tangla-Bhergaon road near Harchrapara Fishery project disrupting vehicular traffic on Tuesday. A mass all-religion prayer to give ample wisdom to the local MLA, Executive Members of BTC and Members of Parliament for immediate repair of the dilapidated Tangla-Bhergaon road was also held on the occasion. A memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister was also sent through the office of Bhergaon SDO(C).

The road which falls under 64 no. Panery LAC and No. 8 Mangaldai Lok Sabha Constituency is the only motorable road connecting subdivisiol headquarter town Bhergaon with Tangla town. The road has large potholes and travelling through the road is like a nightmare for people. The memorandum urged for immediate reconstruction of the road. Rinjoy Boro said, “The BPF legislator of Panery LAC has failed to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people. BJP parliamentarian of Mangaldai Lok Sabha constituency, Ramen Deka is also least concerned about development in Bhergaon subdivision.”
