ABSU to start career connect programme for Bodo medium students

Rangia, June 7: All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) will start career connect programme for the Bodo medium students within a very short time. This was declared by Promod Boro , ABSU president on Tuesday at Rangia Haradutta Biradutta Bhavan at a function organized by the union to felicitate the top 10 Bodo medium students in the 2016 HSLC examition. The programme was organized at Rangia centrally. Presiding over the meeting held in this regard, Promodo Bodo urged the new government to establish a new directorate for Bodo medium. All total 1,174 students of Bodo medium in Assam secured first division last year, he informed. He urged the students to be sincere and attentive in their studies. Dr Bhabesh Das, Principal of Government Ayurvedic Collage also supported separate directorate for Bodo medium. Dr Atul Borah, Principal of Assam Engineering College, Lorance Islary, ABSU general secretary, Basistha Baro, retired Headmaster of KB Deulkuchi HS School, gen Boro, Assistant Professor of Nikashi College and other dignitaries were present in the programme. The toppers of the talent search examition organized by ABSU were also felicitated.
