AC awards 'A' grade to Sibsagar College

SIVASAGAR, April 6: The tiol Assessment and Accreditation Council (AC) has conferred ‘A’ grade to Sibsagar College, Joysagar with a CGPA of 3.13. The result was declared by the AC through their website. A peer team from AC visited the college for inspection from February 14 to February 16, 2017. Dr. Prafulla Ch. Kalita, Principal of the college, and Jyoti Prasad Chaliha, president of the Sibasagar College Magement Committee, expressed their gratitude to all the stakeholders of the institution, including the faculty, students, retired teachers, non-teaching staff, alumni, and well-wishers for this achievement. The Sibsagar College was established on November 2 in 1947 at Kali Prasad Memorial Hall in Sivasagr town and later shifted to Joysagar in 1952.
