AC peer team visits Haji Anfar Ali College

GAON, February 7: A peer team of tiol Assessment and Accreditation Council (AC), Bengaluru visited Haji Anfar Ali College, Doboka for Re-accreditation (2nd Cycle) recently.

The team comprised the chairperson Prof. V. Gopal Reddy, former Vice-Chancellor, Kakatiya University and Palamuru University, Talanga; Member Coorditor Dr. Ak. Sunderkumar Singh, former Principal, Moirang College, Manipur; and the member Prof. Pam Rajput, Emeritus Professor, Panjab University, Chandigarh. On their arrival the peer team was given a cordial welcome with traditiol Bihu dance by the students of the college.  

After meeting with the Principal, the team interacted with the IQAC and various departments of the college. In the luncheon meeting the team had a thorough discussion with the members of the governing body, university and government representatives and other members of the magement. During their visit, the esteemed members interacted with the members of various faculties inquiring about their research work, research papers, publications and their plans for future development.

The team had an interaction with the students as to learn about their views regarding infrastructural and academic facilities. Another highlight of the visit was the parent-alumni interaction. A grand cultural programme was organized for the peer team in which the students of the college displayed their talents and their diverse cultural backgrounds in dance and songs.

The peer team visit concluded with the exit meeting where the welcome address was given by the Principal Dr. Mamun Azam Barbhuiya. In the exit meeting, the chairperson of the peer team and other members of the team expressed satisfaction over the growth of the college.

They handed over the AC report to the Principal Dr. Mamun Azam Barbhuiya and the IQAC Co-orditor Dr Sahab Uddin. The team also appreciated the effort and teamwork put in by the institute, expressed gratitude for the hospitality and warmth shown by the members of the College.
