GUWAHATI, July 21: At last, the Kamrup (M) district administration seems stepping up tough measures against the management of Accoland, the city’s one of the biggest amusement and water park located at Pat Gaon near Rani. Notably, responding to multiple media reports a magisterial level enquiry against ‘Accoland’ was ordered by the Kamrup (M) deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal recently following which a raid was conducted on Saturday at the park. The raid, which was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ranjit Konwar lasted for around 2 hours. The team revealed multiple anomalies in ‘Accoland’. Talking to the reporters, ADC Konwar exposed multiple anomalies that have been occurring over the couple of months at the park. He said that the water quality was not up to the prescribed standard.
