ACMS stages protest

Moriani, June 18: Demanding immediate redressal of their grievances, activists of Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) staged a six-hour protest at Mariani on Thursday. Hundreds of agitators joined the demonstration outside the office of the Circle Officer. The agitators demanded immediate implementation of the revised wages of tea garden labourers, regularization of ration supply, upgradation of tea garden hospitals and provident fund for the labourers.
