Action against fake homeopaths sought

Dibrugarh, April 11: The 260th birth anniversary of Samuel Hahnemann, the father of Homeopathy science was celebrated by the Homeopathy doctors of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia district at Dr Monoranjan Bhagawati’s clinic in Duliajan on Friday with a day-long programme.  

The   doctors of both the districts, participating in the celebration resolved to work for spreading Homeopathy science. The meeting organized on the occasion was addressed by several Homeopathy practitioners who in their speeches, spoke elaborately on the life and works of Dr Hanyman. Expressing serious concern over mushrooming of fake Homeopathy doctors in both the districts, the speakers, in their deliberation, called upon the concerned authority in general and the respective district administration in particular for stern action against such hoax professiols.

Dr Soumitra Bardhan, while pointing out the rapid increase of fraud homeopathy professiols in Tinsukia district, cautioned them to stop such practice immediately otherwise the association would not hesitate to take appropriate steps against them.

Earlier, noted Homeopathy doctor of Dibrugarh district, Dr Hem Gogoi started the function by lighting a traditiol lamp.
