GUWAHATI, April 22: The All India Chess Federation (AICF) in its central council meeting, held in Cheni recently, suspended the All Assam Chess Association. The meeting also decided to nomite a five-member Ad-Hoc Committee, with Rajeev Kumar Bora as chairman and Biswajit Bharadwaj as secretary to run the affairs of the All Assam Chess Association till fresh elections are held. The other members of the Ad-Hoc committee are Laishram Imocha,Binod Khemka and Mridul Kumar Mahanta.
