ADC Lalsim visits schools and Anganwadi centres

Silchar, April 26: A surprise visit for inspecting various LP schools and ICDS Anganwadi centres under Lakhipur and Binnakandi projects was carried out by SDO (Civil) in-charge, ADC J R Lalsim recently. The names of the schools she visited are 1579 Binnakandi P – I LP School, 22 Barak Garden LP School, 1587 Dilkhush Tilabasti LP School, 535 LP School, 961 Janata LP School (Lakhipur tea) and 112 Dilkhush LP School at Binnakandi Ghat. She made queries about the school, interacted with the students.

The teachers, students and staff were found to be on time. J R Lalsim was satisfied and content at the results of her surprise visits to these schools. However, she was dismayed at condition of ICDS Anganwadi centres. She has decided to arrange a meeting with Dharnidhar Kalita, CDPO of Lakhipur and L Kabung, CDPO of Binnakandi regarding the precarious condition of these ICDS Anganwadi centres.
