The rally started from Sundari area of Sidli and moving through the NH-31, culmited at Sidli Block Development office of Chirang. After the rally, the activists staged demonstration in front of Sidli Block office. Addressing media persons, Rajesh Tudu, president of ASSU, said that this is a conspiracy of the BTC government to betray the non-Bodo people of this land. “But they had forgotten that unitedly non-Bodo people are still majority in BTAD. Hagrama will have to face the storm of anger of non-Bodo people if he does not abolish this rule,” he said. After the demonstration, they submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister and Governor of Assam in this regard.
