Adivasi students seek action in Demow graft cases

DEMOW, Feb 6: The All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA) Demow Regiol Committee staged a two-hour demonstration in front of the Demow Circle Office on Tuesday against various scams that took place in Demow area. Under the leadership of Binda Chaura, president and Lalit Tanti, secretary of AASAA Demow Regiol Committee, a memorandum was submitted to the Demow Circle Officer and in the memorandum, AASAA Demow Regiol Committee said that many scams had taken place in Demow area. Till date no steps have been taken in these scams. In the memorandum, AASAA Demow Regiol Committee demanded proper investigation into all the scams and punishment for those guilty.
