Dibrugarh, May 16: In a rare feat, advocate Pooja Dutta of Dibrugarh received the ‘Exceptional Woman of Excellence Award’ at the 5th Women Economic Forum, 2018 of the World Economic Forum, held in Delhi recently. The forum, which acts as a platform to celebrate the industrious women involved in accelerating the world economy, was attended by women from 105 nations, including Australia, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Cameroon, Canada, China and Egypt. Dutta, who is the daughter of Pradip Chandra Dutta and Tushar Kana Dutta, was honoured for her contribution in the field of legal services as well as for her leadership skills.

The gala event was graced by many world-renowned dignitaries, including Fatima Al Jaber, who found a place in the Forbes List of 100 Most Powerful Women, 2014. Apart from the international figures, the event also witnessed the presence of Union Minister for Food Processing, Harsimrat Kaur Badal; chairperson of All Ladies League, Krishna Pujara and youth leader Nachiketa Joshi.
