AGP delegate meeting held

DULIAJAN, February 3: A delegate meeting of Duliajan constituency committee of Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) was held recently in the Kachari Pather Public playground, Duliajan where the subject of alliance with a tiol political party, along with organizatiol matters were discussed. In the delegate meeting, a resolution was passed where Duliajan constituency committee of AGP wanted preference for taking decision on who to give ticket for the prestigious 118 Duliajan constituency. The meeting also decided to fight alone in the constituency in the upcoming assembly election if the AGP central committee approved. In this regard a letter was sent to the AGP central committee through the district committee. Prabin Dihingia, central committee member of AGP general assembly, Putul Sonowal, general secretary of Dibrugarh district committee of AGP along with 150 party members attended the delegate meeting, said Dhankanta Mech, joint secretary of Duliajan constituency committee of AGP.
