AGR Organic Food Centre inaugurated

Golaghat, July 18: The AGR Organic Food Centre was inaugurated by ADC Utpal Dolley at Bata Point in Golaghat town. In his address he said, “This is a laudable step to boost organic farming. It will create a platform and local farmers will be highly benefitted by this.” The centre was originally started by Rajen Gohain in Amgudi in the year 2016 and outlet was then established in Sivasagar, Jorhat and New Delhi. Dolley spoke about the functioning of the centre and also stated that the centre had obtained all the necessary permission and document. Various products like spices, rice, tea and other food items will be available at the centre. In the function, District Agriculture Officer Noresh Chandra Chaw, Asim Sarmah and journalist Apurba Ballabh Goswami were present.
