Aimed at infusing spirit of patriotism, Youth Parliament to be held in gaon

GAON, January18: gaon Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, will organize a Youth Parliament/Youth Conclave on January 23 at gaon Dawsan Higher Secondary School field in which around 1,500 youths and other students from various colleges and youth clubs or students organizations are expected to attend. Addressing a press conference held at the auditorium of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, gaon, Rani Dwivedi, Board of Governor, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, New Delhi stated that the main objectives of the parliament would be to infuse the spirit of patriotism and tiolism among the youth of the State and the theme of the programme would be ‘Skilled youth, empowered Assam’. She, however, stated that renowned speakers would also be invited to address the parliament on some selected topics, especially on Government of India flagship programmes. In the parliament, young talent from various fields would also be felicitated. Essay competition on three topics will also be held. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sarbanda Sonowal will be the chief guest.
