Air Warrior Drill team puts up drill demonstration in diamond jubilee celebration of IBEXES

Tezpur: A team of 32 airmen from Arjan, the Air Warrior Drill Team of Indian Air Force, performed a coordinated weapon assisted drill demonstration as part of the diamond jubilee celebration of IBEXES (43 Squadron), one of the premier transport squadrons of the station on Saturday. The team arrived from New Delhi for this special occasion.

Air Commodore SK Verma, Vishisth Seva Medal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jorhat, Alka Verma, president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (local), personnel, and their families witnessed the impressive drill demonstration performed by the team.

Later, the Air Officer congratulated the personnel of the transport squadron on successfully completing 60 years of operations. He exhorted all the personnel to maintain high professional standards for upkeeping the premier aircraft in future endeavours also. Further, he appreciated the efforts of the drill team for putting up such a highly synchronized and scintillating drill which needed whole-hearted and flawless participation of each member.
