JOYSAGAR, April 10: “The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) is a party which believes in brotherhood and unity among the people of India and never plays religious games for political profit,” said MP and AIUDF chief Maula Badaruddin Ajmal during his visit to Sivasagar on Monday.
MP Ajmal visited Sivasagar and took part as chief guest in the concluding session of the two-day long Dwini Madrassa Jalsa celebration in Sivasagar town on Monday. During his interaction with local media persons, Ajmal revealed the socio-political agenda of the party. He said that AIUDF believed in secularism and hence it was likely to take part in the proposed Third Front in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Without mentioning any mes, Ajmal said that AIUDF was against those who used religion as a political weapon to win elections.
