Ajmal releases Rs 1 cr  from MPLADF

Foundation of Dhubri chest hospital building laid

DHUBRI, April 6: Dhubri MP and AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal laid the foundation of the two-storied building of Dhubri Chest (TB) Hospital and released Rs 1 crore from his MP Local Area Development Fund (MPLADF) on Thursday. Addressing a public meeting held on the occasion at hospital premises, Ajmal said that this was the oldest chest hospital in Assam and wanted to make it a modern and specialist hospital in the Northeastern region. “There will be no dearth of fund as I shall be releasing the requisite fund for its all-round development in a phase manner,” Ajmal assured.

Addressing the meeting, local AIUDF legislator and chairman of Dhubri Chest (TB) Hospital Magement Society, zrul Haque said that besides upkeep of the chest hospital, all the roads in Dhubri town would be constructed or improved. While speaking in the meeting, Dhubri district BJP president, Dipak Kumar Saha said that political ideologies should not be barrier and stumbling block for development works in the greater interest of Dhubri town.

The meeting was also addressed by Bilasipara (west) legislator, Basir Ahmed Kasemi and others.
