The AJYCP  Dibrugarh Town Committee president Suman Devth and secretary Pabitra Dutta, in a press communiqué issued later, opposed Brahma’s style of functioning and failure to contain rhino killing and to check destruction of forests in general and some reserve forests in Upper Assam in particular, and demanded her to step down from the ministry on moral ground.
