AJYCP meet held at Demow

DEMOW, Feb 12: The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), Demow regiol committee in association with the Palengi Kacharipathar branch committee organized a meeting on Friday at Borphukhuri Primary School premises which was presided over by Krish Hazarika, president of Demow Regiol Committee.  

Biswajit Shyam, joint secretary of Sivasagar District Committee was present as Chief Guest. Shyam in his speech spokes about the goals and also regarding their demand of the organization which include implementation of dual citizenship, issuance of Inner Permit, granting full autonomy to Assam and scrapping of Centre’s notification on minority refugees.

In the meeting five retired teachers—Bhupen Gogoi, Pithuram Gogoi, Bhugeswar Gogoi, Jakheswar Gogoi and Buddha Borah were felicitated by the workers of the AJYCP, Demow regiol committee.
