JORHAT, March 13: The members of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP)'s Jorhat district committee today staged protest in front of the Jorhat Deputy Commissioner's office against the transfer of agricultural land to industrialists here. The protesters said that a lot of agricultural land in Jorhat has been has been handed over to capitalists for their commercial use. The organization has demanded the intervention of the district administration in this regard.
