AJYCP submits memorandum

DULIAJAN, April 6: The president and general secretary of Duliajan regiol unit of Asom  Jatiyatabadi Yuba-Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), Bubul Bhuyan and Bidyut Bikash Gogoi respectively, submitted a memorandum to  the MP of Dibrugarh constituency, RCE of OIL, Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh and Circle Officer of Tengakhat Revenue Circle recently, demanding that OIL should take initiative to develop Merbil as tourist place. They also demanded to stop the Man Magement Contract (MMC), recruitment process in OIL should start soon, construction of a technical institute in Duliajan for unemployed youths, repairing the poor roads in Duliajan and its neighbouring areas and providing streetlights, to release the supermarket by OIL which has been occupied by CRPF since the past few years near at Station Road, Duliajan and construction of rest house with toilet facilities at the sites of OIL Bus Stand, Tipling and Pepoltol Tiniali.
