AJYWO demands appointment of ADC, EAC in East Jaintia Hills

SHILLONG, Feb 15: The All Jaintia Youth Welfare Organization (AJYWO) central body has demanded the state government to immediate appoint an Additiol Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) at East Jaintia Hills District (EJHD). The AJYWO has pointed out the non-availability of an ADC or EAC in the district has caused a lot of inconvenience of the people of East Jaintia Hills District. It may be reminded that the government had earlier transferred two officers K Syiem, ADC of EJHD, G. Warjri, EAC including a Block Development Officer (BDO) of Saipung C & RD Block.
