Akrang nets hat-trick as ASEB win

GUWAHATI, June 28: Rode on a nice hat-trick from Akrang rzary, Assam State Electricity Board Sports (ASEBSC) club bounced back in the Bodousa cup soccer tourment in style thrashing Barekuri FC 5-0 at the Nehru stadium here today. The winner were leading by 3-0 in the lemon break.

ASEBSC lost their iugural game against Shillong Lajong Academy yesterday and the side desperately seeking a victory to stay in contention to earn a berth in the next round.

Local outfit needed just 10 minutes to open their account through Akrang rzary. He also scored two more goals in the 87th and 90th minutes of the game to complete his hat-trick. Syed Ansar (15 minutes) and Jessy Vanlalmua (16 minutes) were the other scorers for ASEBSC.  Barekuri never looked a threat for the home team as most of the time they remained busy to defend their goal.
