KOKRAJHAR, Jan 31: The 11th All Assam Junior Inter- District Archery Championship, 2015 got underway from today at Kokrajahr District Sports Association (KDSA) playground. Around 100 participants from fifteen districts of Assam are taking part in the championship.
The Deputy Chief of BTC Kampa Borgoyary iugurated the championship in presence of BTC EM of Sports and Youth Welfare Doneswar Goyary. The championship is being organized on both recurve and Indian round. The host district Kokrajhar has 11 participants with three in recurve and eight in Indian round.
Earlier, the Vice President of the KDSA Simson Mashahary hoisted the flag of the association while the flag of Assam Archery Association (AAA) was hoisted by its vice president Ajay Kr. Basumatary.
