All Assam Cooking LP School Association Demands Increment

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Cooking LP School Association (AACLPSA) will address their issues on the next Assembly as well as to Labour Commission. If not taken necessary actions they will proceed towards protest. At present total 1 lakh 17 thousand workers are engaged at their job only with a remuneration of rupees 1000 per month. In a press meet organized at the Guwahati Press Club they questions on why the workers of other states are getting rupees 2000 as remuneration per month, where in Assam they are only getting rupees 1000 only.

While addressing the media vice president of All Assam Cooking LP School Association, Khudeja Khatun, the president and secretary of All Assam Cooking LP School Association, Sabita Boro and Soonti Bordoloi said they want their demands to be fulfilled as soon as possible. Firstly they want their jobs to be regularized within three months. Their salary should be increased from rupees 1000 to 9600 rupees per month or else they will start their protest and finally instead of 10 month’s they want 12 months of remuneration.

They let the media know that after the press meet the will send memorandum to the chief minister and minister of respective department. If the government and respective departments continue their negligence and show no interest in solving their problem they will start democratic protest soon. They also requested the police to take action against Jahanara Begam’s brother Sher Alom who is showing fear of killing the president and secretary of the association.
