All Assam Minority Students’ Union body assumes office in Biswanath Chariali

Biswanath Chariali: The newly constituted body of the Biswanath district unit of All Assam Minority Students’ Union (AAMSU) assumed office on Wednesday at a programme held at the auditorium of Biswanath College with Amil Haque in the chair while the objectives were explained by Fakir Ali. The office bearers were administered oath by Central Vice-President of AAMSU, Saifuddin Ahmed. A good number of problems being faced by the minorities including education, health, child marriage, gambling, river erosion, shortage of teachers in primary schools etc were also thoroughly discussed in the meeting. Several AAMSU leaders Kuddus Ali Sarkar, Ali Ahmed, Ashraf Ali, Jehirul Islam, Abidur Rehman, Najir Hussein etc were present on the occasion.
