All Nepal Football Academy Thrash Tripura 8-0 in 2nd T Ao North East International

GUWAHATI: All Nepal Football Academy thrashed Tripura by 8-0 in the 2nd T Ao North East International NEC Gold cup at the LNIPE complex at Sonapur today. The side needed just four minutes to open their account and later they pumped in seven more goals.

Abhishek Rijal (4) was the top scorer in the match while Prezen Ramang (2), Rejin Subba (1) and Dhira Shreshta (1) scored the other goals.

In another game at the same venue Meghalaya defeated Nagaland by 2-1. Fiao Syndai and Baiokhem Thangkhiew were the scorers for the winning team. Maleyi Medeo reduced one for Nagaland.

Meanwhile at the SAI sports complex in the city host Assam hold 1-1 draw against Arunachal Pradesh. Bishnu Bordoloi put Assam ahead in the tie but later Arunachal Pradesh returned the goal through Tapi Hakhe. Earlier in the first match at same venue Mizoram beat Manipur 1-0. F Halnun Huanga was the lone scorer in the match.
