ALMC to support Congress in BTC polls

KALAIGAON, March 19: The Assam Linguistic Minorities Council (ALMC) will support the Congress in the upcoming BTC election. Sajal Kumar Ray, AMC general secretary, told media persons that they had submitted a memorandum to APCC president Anjan Dutta and Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to oust the BPF from power in BTC. “The people belonging to linguistic minority communities are fed up with unfulfilled promises of the BPF. The corruption of the BPF will destroy it,” said Ray. He added that all ALMC workers would cooperate with the Congress to win the BTC poll and said that APCC president Anjan Dutta had assured to help the linguistic minorities.
