Anganwadi workers and helpers protest in Baksa

TAMALPUR, Feb 8: Baksa district Anganwadi workers and helpers’ organization stages protest on Wednesday at Mushalpur, head quarter of Baksa district, demanding increase of budget for the department of ICDS.  More than 2,000 Anganwadi workers and helpers from various parts of Baksa district gathered at Mushalpur Durga Temple premises. The activists also took out a protest rally and after passing through the main areas, arrived in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Baksa district. The protesters submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister and State Fince Minister through the Baksa Deputy Commissioner with their demands.
