Anja to receive promising player award

GUWAHATI, April 3: Upcoming soccer player Anja Saikia of Dibrugarh will receive this year’s Most Promising Player Award. Assam Sports Jourlists’ Welfare Association introduced the award a couple of years back on the me of deceased sports jourlists Gautam Bora. The award would be handed over to Anja during the two-day program of Assam Sports Jourlists’ Welfare Association's establishment day which will kick off on Sunday. The association will celebrate their foundation day on April 5 and 6 at RG Baruah Sports Complex.
