Ankurjyoti lift Bud Cricket Challenge title

GUWAHATI, Feb 15: Ankurjyoti Club lifted the Bud Challenge Cricket title defeating City Cricket Club in a well contested fil by 2 wickets at Mangaldoi today. The star of the match was Prime Amarth (93) who played a magnificent knock and guided Ankurjyoti to victory.  Chasing 211 runs to win Ankurjyoti, rode on good knock from Prime Amarth, reached the target in the penultimate ball of their innings with two wickets in hand. Prime Amarth played 118 balls to score 93 with the help of 13 boundaries. Vijay Gautam (59, 65B, 4×5, 6×3), was also bat well in the match.

Earlier City Cricket Club were restricted to 210/9 in their 40 overs. Jyotiraditya Chetia (57) was the top scorer for the team.
