UDALGURI, Feb 5: The 103rd annual conference of Boro Baptist Convention was held at Bhalukmari near Rowta in the district of Udalguri. The theme of the convention was ‘Perilious time and end of the age’.
Rev. Vijayesh Lal, general secretary of Evangelical Fellowship of India, Dr. Koshy, Maging Director, BCH, Tezpur, Rev. Puhar Daimari, former general secretary of NBBCA, Rev. Santosh Daimari, former executive secretary of BBC, and Rev. Pray Daimari, the Church Growth Secretary of Boro Baptist Convention delivered their sermons during different sessions of the congregation. They urged the people to delve into theology and make their living fruitful. The four-day long convention began with opening of the door by Khogen Daimari, the former president of BBC, followed by flag hoisting by Juron Basumatari, the president of BBC. State Food and Civil Supply Minister Rihon Daimari, BTC Speaker Tridip Daimari, State Forest Minister Pramila Rani Brahma and NDFB (R) chairman Ranjan Daimari, among other persolities were present. Thousands of people gathered at the Rowta Bhalukmari field from every nook and corner to witness the mega congregation of Christianity.
