Annual conference of Morigaon Zila Brahman Samaj

MORIGAON, May 4:  The 56th first annual conference of Morigaon Zila Brahman Samaj concluded on Sunday at Bishnumondir in Morigaon. The annual conference began on May 2. The first session started with the hosting of the religious flag by Thula Sarma, former president, Morigaon Zila Brahman Samaj and the committee’s flag was hoisted by Upendrath Sarma, president of Morigaon Zila Brahman Samaj. Tukeshar Sarma, working president and Bharat Chandra Borkataki, former president did the smriti tarpan. The day ended with a general meeting. On May 3, the programme commenced with ndisardha. Then the members of the committee took out a Jalayatra. On the second day a specific programme on sacrificial fire was organized. The programme was organized by Kumud Sarma, Rajen Sama, Dip Borthakur, Babul Sarma, Ganesh Sarma, Tareni Sarma and Bhart Sarma.
