Annual Ziyarat at Ajan-Pir-Dargah concludes

JOYSAGAR, Feb 19: The annual Ziyarat and conclave concluded at the historic Ajan-Pir-Dargah of Sivasagar on Sunday. The two-day function was attended by a large number of people, irrespective of caste and creed. Noted jourlist Haidar Hussain, spiritual leader Hem-Bhai, ADC of Sivasagar, Manoj Baruah, educationist Brojen Bora and Nuruddin Ahmed, attended the open conclave as guests of honour. The open session was presided over by the Dargah maging committee president Jakirul Hussain and the objective of the function was elaborated by the committee general secretary Imul Hazarika.  A souvenir titled Saragurir Ajan was published and it was formally released by the CMD of ONGC, zira. Earlier Jikir competition and other cultural programmes were held on the first day.
