Anomalies in MBBS, BDS admission alleged

A Correspondent

Dibrugarh, July 9: Members of the Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) have expressed strong disapproval of the recent incident in which many students not belonging to the tea community applied for MBBS and BDS seats exclusively reserved for students of the tea community. The organization has expressed shock and dismay over the incident that many non-tea community students had made an attempt to gain admission after acquiring fake certificates. At the same time, its members appealed to the Chief Minister and State Education Minister for a high-level enquiry into the matter.

They have also demanded for the removal of the names of such undeserving students from the selection list, and to consider only the genuine applicants. Many other organizations, including ATTSA, also came out vehemently against the supposed foul play.
