Anti-drug abuse day in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH, June 24:  Arrangements are being made under the initiative of the District Administration for observing the Intertiol Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, here on June 26. Motorcycle rally will be taken out by the Excise department as a part of the programme.  

Similarly, the Excise department with the cooperation of the students of various schools as well as various social organisations will take out a procession through the main thoroughfare of the town.

Moreover, on June 27, 29 and 30, exhibitions, street plays and health camps will be held at six important places of the town. On July 2, a workshop will be organized at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
