Anwar Cinema Hall in Tezpur re-opens

Tezpur, April 13: After having remained closed for nearly six years, the popular Anwar Cinema Hall  situated in the heart of Tezpur town re-opened on Friday with new added attractions. For the entire North bank, it is the first digital cinema hall with 3D silver screen, 2k projection, 3D equipment, 7.1 channel sound with the capacity of 220 Push back luxurious seats. The digital cinema hall  was inaugurated by local MLA Brindaban Goswami in the presence of Kishan Kumar Sharma, ADC, Sonitpur, chairperson of TMB, Pushpa Deka, and MD of Anwar Cinema Hall, Akram Hussain. While talking to this correspondent Akram Hussain, MD, ACH said that Anwar Hall was  established in 1939 by Abul Hussian, his great grandfather, and  now this cinema hall had been renovated and re-equipped with latest technologies.
