APCC accuses PM, Rijiju of creating ‘instability’

From Our Correspondent

Itagar, Feb 11: Alleging Prime Minister rendra Modi and MoS for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju of creating instability in the state, the All Aruchal Pradesh Congress Committee has claimed that Modi’s agenda is to destroy democracy in Aruchal Pradesh.

“Modi does not have any respect for democracy and the constitution. Moreover, he also has no faith in the people’s mandate. In recent past, Modi and BJP created political instability in the state by masterminding the entire episode of toppling the popularly elected Congress government and now they are using all tactics to destroy it in the Panchayat level,” a statement from the party said here today.

Alleging that Prime Minister pumped in lots of black money before demonetization through Rijiju to horse-trade the Panchayat leaders in Aruchal, the Congress further alleged that Rijiju after assuming charge of Union minister has done nothing for the development of state. “The minister instead of trying to destabilize the Congress government, should concentrate on the development of state. The people are closely watching every step of his and he will repent for the same in days to come,” the statement added.

Stating that the recent merger of many Congress panchayat leaders to BJP bear no meaning as Panchayat elections are nearing in, the APCC added that the merger initiated by the BJP is just to please Modi and to pull a large crowd during the latter’s visit to Itagar this month.
