APCSD castigates Governor

Itagar, Dec 27: The Aruchal Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (APCSD) has strongly condemned Governor J P Rajkhowa’s greeting to the public on good governce which was published in media.

The whole world knows that December 25 is the day when the entire Christian community celebrates Christmas, but it is unfortute that the NDA government led by BJP announced this day as a Good Governce day. This is an attempt to directly or indirectly stch the lime light of Christian community or try to disrespect the sentiment of the Christian believers,” a statement from the Seval Dal said.

Alleging the state governor of acting like an RSS or BJP, the APCSD further stated that through the slogan of good governce the governor is indirectly trying to discourage the believe of Christian community of North-East as a whole and the state in particular.

Meanwhile, on Christmas Day APCSD Chief Organizer Kipa Kaha called for maintence of peace, harmony, truth, believe and commitment towards religion and society as he graced the Christmas celebration of Revival church at Dobom village as chief guest.

Kaha was accompanied by APCSD State Organizer Techi Sonia and City Chief Organizer Tame Kechak on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Kaha appealed all the believers to give respect to other religions or religious organizations and also urged the Christian believers to commit themselves towards Jesus Christ.

“We should refine and revive ourselves from the ill mentality and stop getting indulged in unwanted activities. Each and every one, who believes in Christ, may come forward to build a peace and truthful society,” he said.

Kaha further appealed all the youths, parents, believers, and even non-Christians to read the Holy Bible to make one’s life more spiritual and morally strong in order to build a sense of   responsibility towards one’s family and society.
