APDCL distributes free electronic meters

KALAIGAON, April 24: Kalaigaon Subdivisional office of Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) distributed free electronic meters to families living below poverty line at village Bhehguri under Kalaigaon revenue circle. The meters were distributed under the Saubhagya scheme which was launched by the Modi government recently. Fifteen BPL families of Bhehguri were benefitted with free electricity connection.

A ceremonial programme was organized in the premise of Bhehguri Kali Mandir  and it was organized by Arup Borah, SDEE of Kalaigaon, APDCL. Binay Kr. Saikia, assistant general manager of Udalguri district APDCL division, took part in this programme.  He said that people without electricity connection would get it within June.
