APPSC urged to defer AE (civil) exam

 Our correspondent

Itanagar, April 21: The Papum Pare district unit of Nyishi Ethnic Students of Arunachal Pradesh (NESA) has appealed to the authority of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to postpone the proposed Assistant Engineer's Examination (civil) stating that most of the candidates are studying outside the State. In a release, NESA said: "Many students will be appearing in their semester examination during April/May which will coincide with AE (civil) exam due to which hundreds of students have to sacrifice this exam. Even notification ahead of one month's time is not appropriate. At least students should be notified three months ahead so that they can prepare well."
"We know that the APPSC is the biggest autonomous body in the State and firm in its decision. But please look into our problem and postpone the said examination till July first week," urged NESA.
