AR sponsors Dimasa youth

Haflong, Dec 25: With an aim to provide vocatiol skills and quality technical education to the local populace, the 38 Assam Rifles has sponsored alocal youth—Goponjoy Hasnu of Washobil in Dima Hasao district (Assam) for the ITI (Welder Course) being run by the Assam Rifles Institute of Technology (ITI), Silchar. The institute runs a well-structured course which include trade theory and practical as well as employability skills. The locals and parents of the youth conveyed their heartfelt gratitude for this gesture shown by the Assam Rifles and pledged their support towards the efforts being undertaken to usher peace into the area.
