Arms and ammunition recovered

GAON, April 6: In a joint operation carried out by the Army and gaon Police on Thursday night, one .22 pistol and four rounds live bullets were recovered from one Ajfor Ali’s residence at Modhupur area in gaon town. Interestingly, Ajfor Ali was able to flee from the house before the sleuths raided the house. According to sources, Army had information about storage of arms and ammunition in the house and on its basis the Army and the police launched the search operation on Thursday night. Till the filing of this report, Ajfor Ali was absconding and the police and the Army are on his look out.
