Arms licences to be in National Database : Ministry of Home Affairs

TINSUKIA: As per notification of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) vide no GHR 644 (E) of 12.7.2018 all the arms licence holders new and old will be included in a National Database of Arms Licence System who will be issued a unique identification number (UIN) which will be effective from April 1, 2019. The UIN generation date has been extended till 31.03.2019.

The Tinsukia district administration in a press release issued on Thursday asked all non-UIN arms holders to submit relevant documents within 30 days from the publication of news item.
