Arms recovered, two held

JOYSAGAR, May 28: Nazira Police of Sivasagar district recovered two .22 pistols with live bullets from two local businessmen on Sunday. As per reports, two local businessmen of Nazira and Gelakey met with an accident near Gelakey Chariali on Sunday evening and following this, there was a dispute between them and they allegedly tried to kill each other with the arms which they had in their possession. The businessmen were identified as Nazibul Ali and Raish Ali. Police booked them and brought to the Nazira Police Station for interrogation, sources informed.
