Army organizes Iftar party

GOALPARA, June 9 : The Balijana camp of Army's Red Horn division in Goalpara organised an Iftar party at the Markaz Darul Yatama, an orphanage at Karbola of Goalpara town. The programme was largely welcomed by the all sections of people in the district. Col. Vivek Bhatt, commanding officer, attended and wished all the participants for the holy Ramadan month and prayed together with them. Two MLA's, Hafiz Bashir Ahmed Kasimi and AK Rasid Alom were also present on the occasion. Besides several hundred students, representatives from district administration, media, NGO's and other invitees had also joined the programme.
