ARSU celebrates Raising Day

Boko, Feb 12: The All Rabha Students’ Union (ARSU), Kamrup district unit celebrated its 36th Raising Day today at Turukpara here. On the occasion of the raising day, Tankeswar Rabha, Chief Executive Member (CEM), Rabha Hasong Autonomus Council addressed the public.

Rabha in his speech said that they would file candidates in the entire eight assembly seats in the forthcoming assembly election and they will not support BJP, AGP, Congress and AIUDF.

He said that people, especially women should not cast their votes in favor of present Boko MLA Gopith Das, who was accused of molestation to a child maid servant.

The meeting was presided over by Ramen Singh Rabha, President, ARSU. On the occasion Summet Rabha (Executive Member), Arjun Chetry (Executive Member) and many others were present.
